Founded in 2013, the Region of Waterloo History Prize is awarded to a piece of work published witnin the previous 5 years which has helped to educate and promote the heritage of the Waterloo Region through the published work.

Eligibility

The prize may be presented in any format, including, but not limited to a book, movie, article, play etc.

Deadline

The deadline for nominations is the Second Tuesday in March.

Application Procedure

For consideration in The Region of Waterloo History Prize, please submit three copies of the work which is to be considered, along with an invoice for the copies. 

The nominator of the considered work will be reimbursed by the Waterloo Regional Heritage Foundation once an invoice has been received.
